These facts are mainly the cause of illegal copying and downloading music, which is in fact breaking the law and not at least, stealing the money from the author himself.

This service gives you possibility to buy legal digital (MP3) records through www.notape.net webshop for personal and public use. The service is orientated on DJs, but also on regular customers

At the moment we offer MP3 format in resolution 196, 256 and 320Kbps

What is MP3 audio format ?
MP3 is compressed digital audio format (file) considerably smaller than classic CD records. Compression on the other hand causes some disadvantages as quality loss, but even this compressed audio data is still suitable for hi quality playback

Do MP3s contain ID3 tags?
Yes, MP3s from www.notape.sk contain ID3 tags - information about name, author, label, quality of MP3 in Kbps and further information stored in MP3


Shopping and downloading MP3s

How do I buy MP3 ?
Digital audio recordings (files) are bought by downloading paid files from the server www.notape.net prior to purchasing MP3 you can play the short sample from the selected track, 30 seconds long. Purchased MP3s are not delivered on any data storage media, they are stored directly on disk of customer's computer

Buying an MP3 is very simple:
1. put selected MP3s into the shopping cart by clicking on “buy” button located in every product's detail
2. all collected items are stored in the shopping cart located in upper right corner of webpage. Here you can view all stored items, in case you want to remove any  of them,  check it and choose “delete” and it will  be removed
3. next there is order summary and finally, sending the order itelf (ordered items, payment option..) which will after sending be delivered to your e-mail.
4. you are redirected to encrypted, safety pages where the payment for ordered items will be proceeded, in case everything runs smoothly, you are allowed to download purchased MP3s (list of MP3s to download is located in "Downloads" menu). In case the payment is not accepted, your items will be visible, but unable to download, contact us then per e-mail: shop@notape.net and we will inform you further

How do I download MP3s I have paid for ?
In case the payment for MP3s is all right, you are able to download purchased MP3s. Files are downloaded inividually, or together, they are compressed and need to be unpacked after download

What to do if problem appears during MP3 download ?
In case there's any problem with downloading after payment, you have the option to restart the download after marking the matching titles. If it fails again, contact us by e-mail: shop@notape.net with the description of the problem, you will be contacted right away.


Legal aspects

Is the purchased MP3 legal ?
Yes, Notape ltd guarantees, that all MP3s from our www.notape.net webshop are legal and our company owns every certificate and contract that allows us selling these digital formats. Every customer can print out legal confirmation and pair it with voucher.

What is the case with the copyright ?
Notape offers digital audio formats with fully covered copyright and has actual contract with SOZA (Slovak author's union) where the copright charges are paid on a regular basis. You as customer do not have to pay any copyright more and have guaranteed, that everything is fully

How many times can I download bought MP3 ?
After payment you can download it 3 times, then it will be blocked, we recommend to backup purchased MP3s in your PC or CD

Are purchased MP3 copy protected ?
No, files are not protected against further copying. Please be aware, that creating copies from MP3 you have bought is illegal and you are breaking the law doing this.

Can I create copies from freshly purchased MP3 ?
It's possible to create one backup copy from legally bought MP3.

Do I get some legal confirmation ?
Yes, document confirming that the digital audio record has been purchased legally is available to download from www.notape.net  “downloads”
